We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this AirBnB! The scenic view from the property was breathtaking, making every morning feel like a dream. The kitchen was incredibly well-appointed, making it a joy to cook meals and enjoy them with that stunning backdrop. What truly set this stay apart was the attention to detail—the little touches throughout the home made it feel like a luxurious retreat. And to top it off, the warm reception from the host made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. I can't wait to come back and experience this slice of paradise again!
By far the most incredible place we have ever stayed in Scotland (and we have been to many). From start to finish our stay was simply wonderful, the photos don’t do the place justice as it really is just perfect. Every single part of the house has been well thought out and has the highest quality of goods, I don’t think I have ever seen so many kitchen appliances! We stayed over New Year with our dog and had the most incredible time, it’s very difficult to find such an incredible place which also allows your furry friend to join, you can really tell how much they love their own dog, ours is approaching her senior years and really appreciated the carpeted steps across the entire house and access to the dog beds and treats! I could go on and on about how amazing this lodge is, from the view to the hot tub to the jukebox but really you need to go and experience this for yourself. We will certainly be back and cannot wait! Thanks again for having us :) x
This place is absolutely amazing!! We arrived with high expectations (having read previous reviews) and were not disappointed - it is not an understatement to say we were completely blown away with the stylish Knockderry Lodge from start to finish! From the moment you arrive and see the stunning views in the private and peaceful surroundings, you fully appreciate the love and care Ewa and John have invested in this elegantly furnished home. It was a 5 star luxury stay with some very special touches throughout. We had a fantastic stay and were very sad to leave…
This is the best place we have ever stayed in. Everything about it was perfect, the jaw dropping view out over loch long is the highlight and the house is tailor made to make the most out of it. The house is beautiful and you can tell a lot of effort has been taken over the design and decor and it’s paid off as it’s just amazing! When we started posting pictures of where we were staying my brother called me to check if I’d won the lottery! All of the facilities are top of the range and everything is clearly labelled and instructions provided. The owners responded quickly to any questions we had but there were very few things to ask as everything was so clearly explained. I’ve stayed in plenty of places that describe themselves as luxury but this place truly fits the bill and make those other places look limited in comparison, honestly so glad we found this place for our first family trip to Scotland! A perfect AirBnB experience!
Truly one of the best Airbnb’s we’ve been to. The setting is even better than what you see in the photos. We had a superb 3 nights, lots of brilliant walks nearby and we’ve never enjoyed cooking in a kitchen more. Don’t think twice, if you’re looking for an Airbnb in Scotland, this is the one for you.
It’s very difficult to describe Ewa and John’s house and do it proper justice. It’s a beautiful, unique property in a stunning location. The house is even more spacious than the photographs suggest. The house is extremely well equipped and has everything appliance you could think of! The hot tub is amazing. We were there during a powerful storm but that didn’t stop us from enjoying everything the house has to offer. Wonderful bathrooms, extremely comfortable beds, luxurious linens…the list goes on. Ewa and John are extremely generous and welcoming hosts who were in touch with instructions beforehand and were available if we needed anything during our stay. We felt like it was a home away from home and wish it was our actual home! We will hopefully be back again soon. Thank you for making a birthday trip so special and memorable!
